Minister Zhu Qin began his diplomatic career in 1993. He served several positions in China and abroad, including Counsellor of the Chinese Embassy in the United States; Minister Counsellor and Deputy Head of Mission of the Chinese Embassy in the South Africa; Deputy Director-General of the Department of European Affairs of Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
He became Minister and Deputy Head of Mission of the Chinese Embassy in the UK in September, 2016.
