Professor Kevin Ibeh
Kevin Ibeh is Professor of Marketing and International Business and Pro Vice Master (International) at Birkbeck, University of London. He has consulted for the World Bank, the OECD, Scottish Enterprise among others, and undertaken wider professional advisory tasks in over 20 countries. Professor Ibeh’s research focuses mainly on illuminating the capacity, policy and institutional issues affecting non-dominant firms’ uptake of international market opportunities, including via digital technologies. He is particularly considered a leading authority on Africa’s emerging multinationals based on his pioneering and continuing contributions on these lesser known multinationals. Author/editor of four books and over 100 academic papers and guest editor of Special Issues of three influential academic journals, Professor Ibeh sits on a number of editorial boards and is Lead Editor of Palgrave Series on Entrepreneurship in Africa. He is also Chair of the Universities UK International sub Saharan African network.
