Fabio is an accomplished senior executive with over 24 years’ experience in the maritime industry. He began his seafaring career in 1995 after joining the Italian Naval Academy in Livorno, Italy. Fabio rose to the rank of Lieutenant Commander after numerous assignments in the Italian Navy and Allied Forces including naval aviator and later as commander of the MHC Viareggio. He has an advanced degree in maritime studies from Pisa University in Italy and became a ship’s captain in 2007.

Fabio joined MSC, the world's second largest container shipping company, in 2010 where his bi-cultural background and passion for the seas prompted an upward trajectory within the organization; earning positions that would give him greater responsibility and expertise. His experience includes various appointments at MSC Houston, time as office manager of MSC New Orleans and three years as branch manager of MSC Charleston, the largest MSC facility in the U.S. In 2014, he was promoted to vice president of branch offices and personnel and as of 2015, serves as president and CEO of MSC USA at its New York headquarters.
