Dr. Amy Zalman
Dr. Amy Zalman is the founder and CEO of Prescient, a Washington DC-based foresight consultancy that serves Fortune 500 firms, government, and military organizations and non-profit organizations, and a part-time professor in the Culture, Communications & Technology program at Georgetown University. She is also the founder of the Foresight Sandbox, a collaboration with Arizona State University’s School for the Future of Innovation in Society to provide strategic foresight training to business and government leaders. Dr. Zalman’s previous roles include Chief Executive Officer and President of the World Future Society, the world’s oldest membership organization for futurists, and Chair of Information Integration at the U.S. National War College. She speaks regularly on the future impacts of emerging technologies on governments, businesses, and societies. She earned her doctorate from the Department of Middle Eastern & Islamic Studies at New York University.
